Services

• General maintenance, repair and restoration services of violins, violas and cellos available. Verbal repair estimates are free in person.

Some common jobs include: fingerboard dressings, nut work, peg fittings, sound post fitting, new bridges cut, new strings, clean and polish. Each instrument will have specific needs but all require regular check-ups to keep them in prime playing condition. Your instrument will thank you!  

• Bow work, valuation appraisals and instrument authentication services not offered at this time.

• Instruments for sale to fit a range of budgets: Custom made violins and violas available or by commission. A selection of new commercial instruments and outfits (violin, bow, case, rosin) for sale for entry-level musicians. Mid-range, mid-budget instruments including hand-finished “Shop of Kotlarz Violins” and vintage, fully restored violins.
